Optional Extension to Victoria Falls and Botswana Safari

November 12 - 16, 2018

Victoria Falls is a bucket-list destination for waterfall aficionados and anyone who has an appreciation for the majesty and power of nature. Named Mosi-oa-Tunya, or “The Smoke That Thunders”, Victoria spans the Zambezi River at the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe.

While it is neither the highest nor the widest waterfall in the world, Victoria is classified as the largest, based on its combined width of 5,604-feet and height of 354-feet, resulting in the world's largest sheet of falling water. Victoria Falls is roughly twice the height of North America's Niagara Falls and well over twice the width of its Horseshoe Falls. In height and width, only Argentina and Brazil’s Iguazu Falls rivals Victoria.

In addition to exploring the falls, we will cruise the Zambezi River at sunset to enjoy the hippos and other wildlife, as well as experience a full day’s safari in Botswana’s Chobe National Park.
